Not A Box

You are not a box I check, a “to do” that must be done, a chore, or an obligation. You are my God, my King, the first and the last. You are not at the start of my day, but in my day, all around it, at the centre. Meeting with you is “the one thing that is necessary” (Luke 10:41-42). You are everything to me.

Mono No Aware
